this week's favorite things mostly come from my local dollar store: dollarama.  it recently went from a "everything's a dollar" store to a 1$ + store, which means items go from 1$ to 2$ (in between is 1.25$ and 1.50$).  this means they've been bringing in some pretty damn awesome stuff, as a result.

so you may not all be aware, but i'm a reality TV junkie - american idol, canadian idol, so you think you can dance (american and canadian), america's and canada's next top model, etc...

there is one show that i hold to highest regard, for entertainment value only, and that's american idol. i love the show even though i've only seen the second, third and seventh seasons (and of course, am watching this season as well).

last year, when david cook took to the stage, i fell in love. i have everything he's ever recorded, both solo and with axium, his high school band. he is everything the american idol should be, and his commitment to his family, brother adam especially, is awe inspiring.

far be it for me to ever recommend anything to anyone because we're all so different, but i kind of wanted to start doing a "my favorite things" list every once in awhile so i can share some awesome things i've come across that i own.  this week's list is a mix of people, electronics, and cosmetics, and i hope to keep doing one of these every so often.

wow - i wasn't expecting my list to be as long as it was, but i enjoyed talking about some things i've recently (or not-so-recently) discovered and i hope that i'll be able to keep this up as i discover more!  :)
